If you are in need of counselling support, you have come to the right place. I am an experienced counsellor and psychotherapist, accredited by the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). 


Contemplating counselling or psychotherapy is a daunting prospect, the fact that you are reading this suggests that you have taken the first steps to making sense of feelings and experiences that are troubling you. I hope that by exploring these pages, you will gain a better understanding of what psychotherapy is about, and be able to decide whether counselling or psychotherapy and indeed I am the right "fit" for you and the issues that you are grappling with at the moment. 

Research shows that regardless of the theoretical background of the counsellor, the most important factor to making changes in your life is the relationship between you and your counsellor. With a good relationship you can address even the most deep-seated problems.  ‘The relationship is the Therapy’

As a counsellor I aim to provide you with a safe, non-judgemental place to explore any painful or confusing thoughts, feelings and experiences you may have. I work in a warm and empathic way shaping the therapy to your particular needs.

I offer regular weekly appointments from a lovely, peaceful cabin in my garden in central Newbury
